Volunteers for Omagh

Women's Group
Provide support to this group of women who meet every Wednesday morning for coffee, and activities that women are interested in. Based in the community, activities have included beauty treatments at Omagh College, alternative therapies, courses, shopping and eating out.

Community Link Volunteers
Do you have 2 hours in the week to support someone with sight loss in their local community to carry our essential tasks? This new opportunity to volunteers includes assisting with shopping, befriending or just going for a cup of tea. Volunteers required currently in the Omagh, Fintona and Dromore area. For more information or to register interest, please contact Ciara on 028 8225 0220.

Ramblers
If you enjoy a brisk walk, become a sighted guide for this group of ramblers as they meet once a month to venture to different rambling locations eg Gortin Glens, An Creagan, Cranny and Lovers Retreat.

Flag Days
Street collections take place twice a year in Omagh, scheduled next for Saturday 9th September 06. Volunteers needed to collect and count funds.

White Cane Walk 08
WATCH THIS SPACE! This event needs volunteers to assist with organising, distribution of sponsor sheets, and of course, walkers!
