Rural Transport Survey

Joint Initiative with Royal Victoria Hospital, National Council for the Blind of Ireland and the Blind Centre for Northern Ireland.
The focus of the research programme, supported by the Baxter Foundation, is to examine rural transport and the need for improvement, for people with poor vision living in North West Ireland.

Medivision Project

The Blind Centre is thrilled to have secured 3 years' support from the Big Lottery Fund, to carry out this important research programme across Northern Ireland.
Our partners in this project are Queen's University Belfast and the Low Vision Clinic, Royal Victoria Hospital.
A community researcher has been appointed and the project "goes live" in September 2006.
